April's Tutoring - Online or In Person

Introduction: I provide tutoring services for children and adults, either online or in person. If in person, I prefer a public location. I would prefer in person, rather than online, as I feel that the medium allows for a better connection. I have almost 4 years' experience as a teaching assistant, worked as a writing consultant in the Writing Center at the University of Texas at Dallas, have previous experience tutoring children and adults, and have worked as an SAT (English) and ACT teacher. I have my BA and MA in psychology and am currently working on my PhD in arts and humanities. I'm very patient, and with my psychology background, I have worked in mental health and have experience with individuals with psychological diagnoses, learning disorders, and emotional issues. I specialize in English -- writing, reading, editing, as well as study skills, organization, the social sciences, and humanities. I'm well-versed in a multitude of topics.
