Hupstymaid was wonderful! They deep cleaned my home and were in and out in a jiffy, they cleaned efficiently and did a fantastic job! It really was great having someone help me out, I'm always going so having a once a month clean done by professionals is a blessing!

This was my first experience hiring a professional cleaning service. I have a 750 foot 1br/1ba apartment. I have two high shedding pets. My home had a lot of clutter and the floors/bathroom/fridge needed a lot of work, but it wasn’t super dirty.
He did a fairly good job overall. I work from home and he tried to be quiet while I worked. I had unexpected company coming over and I didn’t have time, so I appreciated the quick same day service.
I only have two small complaints.
1) I paid for deep cleaning - $200 for a small apartment so i expected “the works”. When he got to the fridge he started and then asked if he could refund me for the fridge since it would take too long and he would be late to his next job. I agreed and he continued to clean what remained. At the end, he asked me what else he could do. I asked him how much time was remaining and he said he stays until the job is done. That doesn’t compute when you think about his time constraint reason for not cleaning the fridge. I think he just didn’t want to do it. Yes. It was dirty but I paid for deep cleaning. I paid for professional cleaning because I wanted perfection and didn’t want to do it myself. They did refund the $20, so they will follow through on the honesty regarding financials. I tipped him $50 because I understand service deserves rewarding, cleaning isn’t fun, and I believe in decency to others.
2) I made a list to make it easy for him and laid it on the coffee table. A couple of items included on the list did not get done: baseboards, floor mopping on all hard floors. The bathroom looked great except he didn’t mop the bathroom floors and there was stuff left behind the bathroom door. Also the baseboards weren’t done. Maybe next time I’ll type it…I never saw him look at the list.
When it comes to rehiring this service, I will have to think about it, because it’s irritating the bathroom floors weren’t mopped, he didn’t want to clean the fridge the baseboards weren’t done, and I had to tell him to straighten the couch cover (that was on the list). Deep cleaning for $200 means everything in a 750 sq ft apartment.
If you’re in a pinch and need something done same day and they are available, I would recommend. If I plan ahead next time I need services, I’ll probably need to think about it.
