Rutger Contracting replaced the hail damaged roof on my rental property. I chose them because they were professional, quick to respond, and they gave me a reasonable quote based on my insurance claim. Throughout the job, communication was seamless. They answered my questions, completed work promptly, and coordinated with my tenants. There were no surprises! They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, and for the price they said it would cost. I was very pleased with my experience!

We recently had Rutger do a flagstone back porch for us and we couldnt be happier with the final result. Everyone was very professional and kept us updated with there progress and timeline. We are VERY picky and they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I will reccomend them to everyone.

I would choose this company again in a heartbeat. I initially picked this company based on the price, reviews, and quick response to my questions. They have now finished the project and the work was fantastic. I will be using them again for future projects. I highly recommend this company.

Rutger was hired for several jobs. The first job was installing carpet to stairs and master bedroom. It went fine. The second job was to replace wood trim in family room. It needs a second repair which still has yet to be completed. The third job was to re-tile a shower, which also went fine. The fourth was to repair and replace a balcony with severe wood rot. The top of the balcony looks really good though the "water proof" layer under the 2x4's ended up being plywood (really?). The underneath portion of the balcony was never replaced and is now suffering worsening wood rot due to drainage through the top of it (hint: plywood is not waterproof). Ultimately, it could have been done better and more thorough. They did reach out once to see about coming to do the second repair of the living room trip, but once I explained our availability I have yet to hear back from them. Would I hire them again? Probably not. We would have hired them to do a complete kitchen remodel, but....... Who can hire someone who leaves a job unfinished (by their own admission) and fails to respond to your availability?
