- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually spend the first lesson throwing information at you so I can determine how quickly you process information and your retention level! This helps we determine how often you should come for lessons and how many lessons you might need, depending on your goal. After that, we decide which dances/choreography you'd like to study and decide on a plan .
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I trained formally with a Fred Astaire Dance Studios for a number of years before transitioning to become independent. Whilst living in Kenya, i trained for and won the Kenyan National Salsa Championships. I socially dance here in town, as well as teaching, I enjoy taking lessons and training sessions in order to stay fresh, learn new steps, different perspectives on teaching and styling!
