- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are very modest.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Thumbtack covers all the basics, but a simple phone conversation to make sure all the details are covered, usually does the trick. Some customers come with a list of the music they want, and I make sure I have every song. Others trust me to make their event exciting, and I do that as well. Still, others just want music in the background (classics, jazz, gospel, or instrumentals), whatever your preference, I try to accommodate. And I like to make the process as simple as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have several years of production at weekly events as the sound guy for a local church, to include plays, musicals, picnics, seminars, and festivals. So my experience goes way beyond weddings and parties.
