As a first time dog owner, my experience with the Pit Bull Doctor has been amazing. We brought Daisy, our newly adopted Pitbull mix, to Dr. Megan just a week after bringing her home. From the very first session, it was clear that Dr. Megan not only understood Daisys needs, but also understood ours as new dog parents. In only a few weeks, Daisy transformed from an anxious, unsure pup into a confident, engaged, and connected member of our family. We noticed improvements not only in her behavior, but in her overall happiness and comfort. The training didnt just help Daisy, it taught us how to communicate with her and how to support her.Dr. Megan was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. She gave us the tools to keep Daisy on track even after the sessions ended. We cant recommend Dr. Megan enough. The program made a great impact on Daisys life and on ours.

Meghan came to the rescue when I needed a walker for my two fur babies at short notice. She was amazing with my two, especially my 16 year old.

I do not recommend this business for any training or boarding services. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and emotionally distressing for both me and my dogs.
First, none of the training outlined in our contract was provided. The facility was not secure, suitable, or professionally equipped for boarding or training purposes. My dogs were left unattended for extended periods, without proper supervision, structure, or care.
When they were returned to me, both dogs were visibly traumatized — stressed, dirty, and neglected. One of them arrived in a travel kennel soaked in urine, which was heartbreaking. It was clear they had not been properly fed or given water during their stay.
What made matters worse was the lack of communication and unprofessional behavior throughout. Instead of honest updates and accountability, I received threatening messages, including being told that my dogs could be dropped off at the pound due to an “alleged incident” that happened while in their care — something that has never occurred in any other professional boarding or training environment.
For reference, my dogs are regularly boarded in professional facilities such as PetSmart and PetSuites, where I receive excellent communication, daily updates, and they have never received a single negative report.
The dogs were returned to me at 4 AM, which is extremely unprofessional. Additionally, my two extra-large kennels that I sent with them were never returned, and I have yet to receive any response to my message inquiring about them.
If you care about the health, safety, and emotional well-being of your pets, I strongly advise you not to use this business.

The Canine Doctor's reply
Thank you for sharing your perspective. I’m truly sorry that your experience felt distressing. The wellbeing and safety of every dog in my care is always my highest priority.
While I cannot share private details or safety information publicly, I do want to clarify that this was an unusual and serious safety situation involving multiple large dogs, including a confirmed history of intra-household aggression and equipment that arrived in unsafe condition. As a result, several safety protocols were required during their stay.
Everything done throughout this boarding period, including monitoring, separation, sanitation, and emergency handling, was documented in real time. All actions were taken solely to protect the dogs from further injury and to manage the significant risks that occurred due to factors outside my control.
I understand how upsetting it is when unexpected incidents happen with our pets, and I remain committed to transparent communication and professional care standards. I am unable to discuss protected details here, but I have already provided the owner with full incident documentation privately.
Thank you to my current and past clients who know the level of care and safety I maintain for every dog entrusted to me. I will continue to provide high-quality, structured, and safe services for all families I work with.
