We refinish wooden doors damaged from exposure to the elements where peeling and discoloration are visible. Door restoration and refinishing is our specialty. We replace weather stripping, door sweeps and threshold if needed. Door installations and repairs, hardware installation (knobs, bolts) Door break-in repairs. We offer warranty on our work and we are insured. Punctuality is a core value, we understand your time is valuable so if we agree to meet at noon, at noon we will be at your driveway ready to start. Cleanliness, We leave a spotless job site and if we made a mess, we will clean it up at our own expense. When we take down and old sun beaten door and restore it to its old beauty, thats a great reward by itself seeing what our hard work accomplished. When a door sags or hits the jamb, its a small pain to deal with.. when we repair it and door swings so smooth and closes effortless that's a relief.

Julien did a great job of working on 4 different pieces of door hardware while on site. He was efficient and very professional. I’d definitely use and recommend him for future projects!

Julian was awesome. He worked until he had it installed. Didn’t charge more for taking longer than expected. Had issue with a the door, not his work, and he came back quickly to fix a problem created by somebody else at no charge. Quality work, very professional, has integrity. Will definitely use him again and would recommend Sturdy Doors to anybody.

Julien came out to repair my door but realized it needed to be replaced. I didn’t have the door nor the paint for the door and thought he wouldn’t be able to assist me in picking up the door. He not only picked up the door but he also had time to install and paint it. He was very professional, punctual and reasonable on the price. Much cheaper than Home Depot and other installers. Thank you for your help with everything Julien. If you all want fast reliable great work results please give him a call.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    We ask for a picture of the door and its size. We quote accordingly and our prices are visible online. We schedule a day for the job. We arrive on time and set up our mobile workshop in your driveway. We remove your door, seal the enterance so dust will not get in and you dont lose AC. Your door will be stripped from previous coats of urethane and sanded from its old stain to bare wood. You get to choose your desired stain color on site. We stain the door and apply our special protective coat to make sure your door will withstand the elements. Reinstall your door after 3hrs!! and leave only when you are 100% satisfied.
