Quote was $1000.00. Then need to upgrade panel with $500.00 breaker. Then $350.00 for wires. This is a brand new home. My prior home had the plug for the portable generator installed for$850.00. Buyer beware. This is the first time I had a terrible experience on Thumbtack.
