I purchased an older home and needed to bring the place up to code and into the 21st century. In deciding to purchase the house, the myriad issues with the house's wiring was by far our biggest concern--so having them resolved ASAP was our biggest priority. After vetting a few contractors, I went with Ruben. He was able to get out to the property quickly and check it out. He spotted all the problem areas that I was already concerned about and clearly explained how to resolve those issues. He was frank and honest about what work needed to be done immediately, and what could be done later or along with a complete re-wire (which we'll be doing in the future). He offered special pricing (reduced from his already very fair prices) since much of the work was in the same area of the house. Specifically, he was hired to: install a new panel to replace 3 cobbled-together older ones, bring the entry point up to code (raise the incoming lines further off the roof, bury a ground cable, etc), bring the outlets in the kitchen up to code (installed GFCI outlets), add a GFCI outlet to the bathroom (it had no outlets at all), run a line to the utility room and install an outlet for an electric dryer, correct a shorted-out switch, and convert some outlets through out the house from 2-prong to 3-prong ("grounded") outlets. We coordinated to have him begin the project the day after we closed on the house. He under-promised and over-delivered: he cautioned that the work may not be completed all in one day (he finished everything that day), and I added a project to the list on the day that he arrived (the kitchen was not wired for a garbage disposal--he was able to knock that out same-day as well). He and his crew were professional, considerate, and polite. They checked with me on any major decisions that required my input, and left no trace that they were ever there. It has been about a week since he completed the project, and no issues have come up--everything works like it did when triple-checked them before leaving. What was a major concern of ours in moving into the house is now a point of confidence. Bottom line: you want to hire this guy.

Ruben was amazing! He was not only extremely friendly and professional, but he did such amazing work! He put in new outlets for us in our garage and they were done so clean and perfect :) we will definitely use him for any eleectrical needs in the future.

Ruben Murillo did an excellent job for us. He was very professional, thorough and prompt. He replaced the breaker box, and replaced several GFCI receptacles. He switched out the A/C breakers to the proper size. He did an overall excellent job. We will use him for all our electrical needs.
