- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After being contacted by a customer, I start asking questions such as: What location does the customer want for their photo shoot? Do they need me to recommend a location? After agreeing on a location, we can book the photoshoot for a specific date. I usually call the customer a day before the photoshoot just to confirm and to see what the weather will be like if we are shooting outdoors. The pricing should be the same as what I quoted on Thumbtack, however physical prints or flashdrive copies are an extra charge, digital Dropbox is free. After completing the photo shoot, I will take them with me, touch them up and will let the customer choose a method of delivery, digital or physical prints.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I first started out doing it for my church as a hobby and slowly became the "church photographer". After gaining some experience, I decided to start photographing friends and family for fun. I then decided to make it my occupation to raise funds for my school tuition and here I am!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have work with all types of people. Families, children, adults looking for professional looking profiles for their social media pages, engaged couples, graduating seniors etc.
