What a pleasure it was to have represented Lauren and Ron since 2002. Like yourselves they found me off the HoustonASID site and I have been working with them ever sense.
Ginny was 110% dedicated to the project. She showed up on time every day, and somehow managed to make the contractors do so, also (and she made them clean up after themselves before leaving each day). She was creative about ways to keep cost down without sacrificing quality, and went above and beyond to be helpful not just with the original project/scope, but also with the various other issues that were uncovered as we started pulling apart pieces of our old house.Dec 26, 2019

It was a pleasure working with Jay the "Bachelor" who wanted his Houston home to reflect his tastes and the same with his Lake House in Austin. I also represented him as his Realtor on the purchase of the Lake House too. Blue , Browns, and Whites were his main color scheme.
I contacted Ginny about some ideas for a couple rooms in our home. She went way beyond and provided me with a lot of excellent ideas with fabrics and furniture choices. In addition she was very punctual with all our meetings. Also she doesn’t pressure you, she is an awesome listener and very knowledgeable. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge a hour fee for finding the materials and getting labor estimates which usually takes 10 to 15 hours. And I charge a mark up to do the work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First go over to the customers home to meet and have a consultation of what needs to be done. If the client and I feel as though there is good communication and a great feeling of comfort and trust then we can proceed with the project.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?In 1986 is when I started. I lived in San Francisco and was married to a builder. We restored a 1886 Historical Victorian and lived in it. I learned from the ground up how to restore and remodel a home. The design talent just came along with all the resources and experience over the years .
