Craftsman / Farmhouse,
I used Hopper Interiors to update my inner loop House in Houston. She did a wonderful job. I again used her to update my Lake House in Austin. Both turned out amazing. I would highly recommend her for your home.Jul 15, 2019Hopper Interiors's reply
It was a pleasure working with Jay the "Bachelor" who wanted his Houston home to reflect his tastes and the same with his Lake House in Austin. I also represented him as his Realtor on the purchase of the Lake House too. Blue , Browns, and Whites were his main color scheme.
I've worked with Ginny on big & little remodeling and design projects since 2002. She can do it all, from running construction crews to picking fabrics. Her design sense is tasteful and elegant. Her work ethic is strong. Ginny is my go-to designer.Jul 14, 2019Hopper Interiors's reply

I have known Ginny Hopper for over 30 years. She was my decorator for our home in Marin County California. She is very talented. Great sense of color & style. Helped choose dining room chairs & all upholstered furniture for living room including fabrics for cushions, chairs, soda & dining room chairs. She designed the drapes for several rooms. Her choice of fabrics, trim & leather was excellent. Loved the colors, comfort & quality. So pleased with results. She was efficient, within our budget & a joy to work with. She can do anything. Knows how to refinish furniture wall paper a wall & paint too. She can do anything. Love what Ginny Hopper did for our home. Beautiful work.Jul 15, 2019Hopper Interiors's reply
Elizabeth was a joy to work with. Her home in Marin County California had such beautiful architectural features it was a artistic joy to create my ideas with in each room. I still communicate and give her design advice to this day.
Ginny helped me with my home in Memorial several years ago and I loved all the pieces and fabric she picked out for my home. She has impeccable taste. Will use her again on my next home furnishings project.Jul 23, 2019Hopper Interiors's reply
Kathryn and her husband were a pleasure to work with! I really enjoyed bringing a new life to her home at the time in Memorial. I look forward to getting with her this Fall in her new Patio Home to give it a new life also!
I contacted Ginny about some ideas for a couple rooms in our home. She went way beyond and provided me with a lot of excellent ideas with fabrics and furniture choices. In addition she was very punctual with all our meetings. Also she doesn’t pressure you, she is an awesome listener and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her for all your home projects.Jul 24, 2019
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge a hour fee for finding the materials and getting labor estimates which usually takes 10 to 15 hours. And I charge a mark up to do the work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First go over to the customers home to meet and have a consultation of what needs to be done. If the client and I feel as though there is good communication and a great feeling of comfort and trust then we can proceed with the project.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?In 1986 is when I started. I lived in San Francisco and was married to a builder. We restored a 1886 Historical Victorian and lived in it. I learned from the ground up how to restore and remodel a home. The design talent just came along with all the resources and experience over the years .
