FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
In 2001, I started taking pictures while working for a newspaper and was told that I had a natural talent and was encouraged to do freelance photography, which I did. I later worked for several professional photographers where I learned more about studio photography and wedding photography. After a few years, I branched out on my own again.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Since 2001 I've done many events and portraits for a wide variety of clients. Although I mainly get phone calls to shoot events such as birthday parties, Bat Mitzvahs, graduation parties, engagement dinners, and weddings, I also do all types of indoor and outdoor portraits; especially outdoor engagement portraits or family portraits and executive head shots either at the studio on Westheimer or at a client's office or home with my mobile studio for their convenience.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I just finished another event shoot over the weekend. I handed the 2,374 digital images to my client at the conclusion of the event. She E-mailed me after she got a chance to look through the pictures and informed me that I did "an amazing job."
