I called Sandra, the person who messaged me on thumbtack, the day before her cleaning woman came to my house. I told her specifically what I wanted done: insides of cupboards cleaned, doors cleaned, baseboards cleaned, etc. because I had just moved into the house. She told me that all of that could be done by one person in 3-3.5 hours. Sandra knew the size of my house-- 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, 2400 sq. ft. I also asked if the quote would still be $100 for everything I asked. She assured me that it would be. The following day, only one cleaning woman showed up, as expected. After spending over an hour just in the kitchen alone, I knew it would take well over 3 hours to clean the house. The woman in my house, Ruvi, assured me she would stay until the job was done. After almost 5 hours, she was getting ready to mop all the floors, and I asked her if she had cleaned the doors yet (I noticed that most of the doors did not look like they had been cleaned). She told me she did not, and then she told me everything I was asking for would be extra. I explained to her that I told her boss everything I needed, and her boss told me it would still be $100. She then informed me her boss told her what I was expecting and that if it took over 3.5 hours she could charge me extra. I refused to pay more than $100, and Ruvi tried to make me feel bad about it. The whole experience was very unprofessional. Ruvi never cleaned the doors, she did not touch the laundry room, she did a poor job mopping the floors, and she did not mop all the floors. None of the baseboards were touched, and none of the light switches were touched after I repeatedly asked her to clean them. I had a terrible experience with this company, and I do not recommend it to anyone.

My name is Layla Grant, I contracted Johanny Cleaning Services on 07-07-14. I have to say, they came in with a strategy to clean and sterilize my 4 bedroom 4 bath home. My home was a fixer upper, it had lots of dust & dirt etc. The team made me feel comfortable having them in my home, They swept - mopped- cleaned interiors & exteriors of cabinets - counters , bathrooms - mirrors etc. This was truly a project Needless to say Ms. Sandra, pointed out some additional cleaning that needed to be completed that I had overlooked when I hired them. That was very honest! They were mindful of my pets. I have to say... My home feels and looks "brand new". I will definitely be using them again and will recommend them to my friends and family. Ms. Sandra arrived @ my Houston home promptly @ 10am , which was our scheduled appointment time. She cleaned my 2 story home. 4bdrm 3 bath. The job took approximately 3 hours. I was most impressed with how she cleaned everything that I requested and I did not have to double check on her work because as she completed her task she'd ask me if it was to my satisfaction, and also what areas in the home did I need her to focus on. This was pleasurable!! Not only was she handling her business, she was being considerate. I've hired other cleaning services In the past , and they were Horrible!!Thank you Johanny Cleaning Services- Sandra. I will definetly use your services again. I will recommend you to my friends, family and church. 5 stars all the way
