- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
This field requires constant research and I subscribe to several industry publications to keep up with new products and guidelines. I often participate in Webinars and discuss new products and procedures with vendors of all types. I attend trade shows whenever possible. I am also a ghost writer for an "Ask the Designer" column that is featured in a North Carolina Newspaper and this requires tremendous online research to best answer questions from readers.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
For the last two years I have been Owner and Principal of Traverse City Art and Design Studio working with new and established artists from across the country to provide fine art as well as design services to my clients.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don't be afraid to ask questions and express your own desires. Every client is different, so every project is different. Communication is the key.
