- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is usually a per hr fee but I am flexible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I look at their home and get a sense of their taste and style and what they feel comfortable with. We then discuss what their likes and dislikes are. I make suggestions about what they can change in furniture or color and especially space planning that has the ability to make you fall in love with your house all over again. I try to work on space planning immediately so the client can envision the changes that are possible even with their own pieces and good editing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My design sense is innate. I have been to Interior Design and Fashion Design schools in NY and in Houston. I read all the current publications watching trends in color, design, furniture, fashion..... I'm very hands on including having had my own drapery design workroom which I worked myself.
