FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically, cases are handled on a contingency fee basis. The lawyer advances the costs of the litigation. If there is no recovery, there is no fee. Percentage fees are calculated on the gross recovery, before application of expenses.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Potential clients come to the firm in a variety of ways, either through referral from other lawyers or prior clients, email, or phone. Usually, we speak on the phone first with the potential client to determine the best course to proceed, typically an in-person meeting either at our office or the client's home or business address. If the client elects to retain us, we provide them complete access to their entire file through the cloud, so that they are aware of all activity taken on their behalf. Clients are afforded in-person meetings thereafter as needed or on reasonable request.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a cum laude graduate of my law school. I have been practicing for more than three decades. I have handled hundreds of cases and tried scores.
