922 Marketing & Design

Introduction: Thank you for taking the time to learn more about my agency and myself. I know that you have plenty of great choices for your creative designs needs and I feel honored that that you are considering using my agency for such a close, personal project. 922 Designs is an award-winning full-service creative agency specializing in (re)branding services, from development & design, to guidelines & strategy. Beyond the branding elements like logos, fonts, & colors.... Our services include marketing (email, s.media, etc), graphic design, digital and print designs, art direction, creative strategy, design, and corporate stationary. 922 was established in Texas as a graphic design studio way back in 2003. The first 5 years was spent working in a large agency environment, shuffling between NOV and Mustang Engineering/Wood Group working as an in-house designer responsible for any design to go through the reproduction and marketing departments. In 2008, I decided to step out and develop my skills as a creative professional , unsure about what that would actually entail. Less than 30 days from the day I submitted my resignation from Mustang/Wood Group, I was being shipped off to basic training for the United States Army in South Carolina. I would spend the next year and a half, jumping from state to state, from school to school before landing at Ft Bragg, NC as a part of the 82nd Airborne Division. I was in NC for less than 6 months before I came down on orders to deploy to Afghanistan under OEF (Operation Enduring Freedom) for an 18 month hiatus in the desert. I bought a new laptop, capable of running all of the the design software, even in the harsh climates of the middle east. 12 months into our deployment, our convoy was hit by an ied sending everyone that was in the lead vehicle flying. There were five of us that were involved in the explosion. We were medivac to Bagram, stabilized then sent back to Germany where we would spend the next 6+ months being locked up in a German hospital room, with nothing more than my computer and German television to try to keep my mind at bay. Eventually we made it back Bragg but was still pretty banged up, and once again only had my laptop to pass the time away. Only this time I am around thousand's was surrounded by thousands of soldiers, each with some kind of side hustle in hopes of striking it rich. Only, they had no idea how to make these ideas into a real, profitable source of income. Lucky for them, I had a background in marketing and design, and due to current state had nothing to do and all the time in the World do it in.
