FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With working with a client I like for them to send me 3 or 4 looks that they are wanting and talk about what is going to look best with their face structure. For Brides I do require a test run appointment where we will do the entire look and make sure everything look exactly like they want for their special day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 80 hours of on hands training from CMC makeup school that consisted of Matching foundations, highlight and contouring, eye shadows and eyeliners for different eye shapes, bridal makeup and hair, FX makeup and character faces.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started doing makeup because of my general love for it. I have always loved makeup and loved bold looks that i constantly was doing on my own face. I started bodybuilding and competing and on stage we are required some pretty heavy makeup looks due to the Theater lights. I remember hired a makeup artist for my first show and it was a HORRIBLE experience! My makeup didn't look good, she was very unprofessional and after that I knew that I wasn't the only one that this had happen to at these shows. I decided that I wanted to share my talent with makeup and help my fellow competitors look their best for the stage and that is where it all started! So I got my certification so I had all the knowledge to help me with my career and here I am! I have now done makeup for people in the fitness industry and got hired by Texas inked magazine for all the companies shoots
