- How did you get started doing this type of work?
This line of work has grown organically for me. I started doing friends and family cakes and snapping a fee pictures and it has exploded from there. I'm starting to get a solid reputation for quality, tasty desserts and excellent customer service and this has continued to drive my new and repeat business daily!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with customers from every social and economic background. I have the ability to relate to a large array of people and that has definitely worked in my favor. I am able to make recommendations and give honest feedback that ensures the customers gets exactly what they are paying for.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
A customer should consider the level of expertise and care is needed for their satisfaction. Some events are simple and casual and may be able to be handled by a local grocer or wholesale shop. While milestone birthdays,reunions, anniversaries and weddings are very special and perfection and higher accountability is desired. In these cases a professional baker is the best option and worth the price this level of expertise brings.
