Ms. Bruera and I spoke directly, there was no middle person as the other attorneys I spoke to had. Her voice was calm and listened didn’t interrupt me one time . 1st asked, how my daughter was not just what happened. After meeting with her the next day which she offered to come to our home but we met at her office. She made myself and daughter feel very comfortable and after hearing the full case she right away told me what was going to happen. Her fee was a flat fee even if it went to trial no hidden fees or 40% (too high) like the other attorneys. After reading about her on the web and meeting with her she made me feel I can sit back and she will do everything in her power for my daughter. She really seemed to care about my 10 year daughter and her dog bite. We felt she was a fighter we were not just another case on her desk. We feel very confident in her ability to represent my daughter .

After I terminated my previous attorney, I retained Sofia Bruera. My case finally moved forward and I would say is the best thing I have done regarding my car accident. She stepped up for the challenge. Even with a police report citing the other party at fault for running the red light and a witness that testified it was the other party's fault, it was not an easy case. I contacted Sofia's firm after I was involved in a bad car accident. I really hurt my back and the insurance company was offering me only $500 in compensation. Sofia was extremely responsive- she would text me back whenever I texted even at night, followed up with me after my doctor's visits and was able to obtain more than 20 times what the insurance company was originally offering. You do not pay unless we win. We offer a free consultation over the phone or in person. We will also travel to you if you cannot make it to the office.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is having an in person or phone consultation with the attorney to determine the legal issues in your case. You will always have a meeting with the attorney handling your case, not with staff members or paralegals. We are available at the office after hours and we are also available to travel to you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my juris doctorate at University of Houston. Throughout my career, I have received numerous awards including Rising Star by SuperLawyers from 2014-2017, Top 100 National Trial Lawyers, Top 25 Mass Tort Attorney and 10 rating on Avvo.
