FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I take a new Animal CPR and First Aid class every year.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been exposed to pet care since birth. As a child, my mother often provided refuge to lost, abused, and injured animals of all species. During this time I was exposed to the miracle of newborn puppies, the playfulness of a young kitten, and the loyalty of an elderly pet. As a teenager, I was given the opportunity to work in my local animal shelter. It was during my time at the shelter that I saw how badly affordable quality pet care was truly needed in our community. As an adult, I have taken it upon myself to contribute to the health and happiness of every pet I possibly can by offering my services.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Choose someone who you feel you and your dog can have a personal relationship with. Search for someone who will truly love your dog, and is not just trying to make some fast cash.
