FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have previously worked with individuals of all ages and ability levels, and with a wide variety of goals. For example, some of the college students I've worked with wanted help on their technique in addition to cleaning up specific pieces for auditions. I've worked with a high school student who was only interested in preparing repertoire for her solo/ensemble competition, while another was deeply interested in exploring the kinesthetic connection to singing and improving her stage presence. I've worked with an 8 yr old who was just learning the basics of musicality and confidence and the fun she could have with it, as well as a 45 yr old who finally wanted to try the one thing he had been putting off his entire life. No matter what my students' goals are, I tailor my lessons to help meet them while always instilling the fundamental technique, musicality, and artistry.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Every individual has a unique personality, and not all personality types work well together. Although it is important to learn the ability to work professionally with someone you may not otherwise enjoy working with, it is also incredibly important to feel comfortable in a learning environment. Find someone that you feel deserves your trust and respect and will return it to you likewise.
