Hi! My name is Kristen Eide, and I love taking photos*. I love taking photos so much that I got my degree in photography! My parents still can't believe that I'm actually using my degree in the real world. I am a sucker for telling a great story through photographs, and I look forward to telling your story. *I also love mac and cheese, peanut butter and jelly and really silly TV shows. I believe 100% that eating peanut butter and jellies gives me an edge in the photography world.

I booked Kristen on 11/13/15 for a pet photo shoot and though I was nervous, Kristen made the whole experience pleasant. My expectations were accomplished by a wonderful and talented photographer. I can't wait to receive my photos. I'll definitely have Kristen in mind for my next session.

Kristen is a photography genius! We used her for our son Henry's first birthday photo shoot and she exceeded our expectations. Her work was so beautiful, it moved us to tears! Kristen is so creative, kind and patient with the little ones. When we reviewed all of our images, we were blown away! We cannot wait to book our next photo shoot with Kristen, our house is now a photo gallery displaying her amazing work!

Ive had the pleasure of having Kristen shoot professional head shots and a few other creative shoots for my personal blog. She is an absolute gem to work with! From the moment you book her to your experience afterwardsKristen is attentive, friendly, and delivers beautiful photographs. Rain, sunshine, no sunshine, and even with a torn ACL (!), Kristen will always go that extra mile to make sure that she provides a wonderful experience and captures the shots that you want. We were very pleased with the photos from our photo shoot with Kristen. You can look at her website and see the amazing quality of the photos. But the results of our shoot was definitely in no small part from how amazing she was with our 2 small boys. She found really creative ways to get them engaged with the camera, which also really helped to capture their personalities! Thank you, Kristen!!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts specializing in photography. This degree focused more on the art side of photography and I think that only helps my creativity in every situation. I have worked in two really amazing photography studios where I was able to learn everything about the portrait photography world. I really enjoy working in natural light but I also have the ability to work with camera lights.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always had an artistic eye and need to create imagery! It started with drawing and illustrations and gradually moved onto photography!
