Syed is really professional and a kind and wonderful energy to have at your event. He perfected the balance of fly-on-the-wall and director, and had some really fun ideas for us to get the perfect shots for our Austin, TX wedding. He handled my bossy redirects well (lol) and also encouraged us to try some of the more creative poses that I wouldn’t have thought of on my own. I will definitely work with Syed again for future photoshoot needs.

Highly recommend Syed/Token Photography! We hired him to photograph my sister's wedding + reception and he was phenomenal--professional, friendly and very talented! My entire family loved him. We were very impressed with how well he blended into the event (like a fly on the wall) when necessary, but then also took charge to organize group photos, etc. as well. He did an excellent job of ensuring that the bride felt comfortable & confident. I will also note that he went above and beyond just as person! He volunteered to give some family members a ride from the church to the reception location and also gave my mom some great photography tips (as she had her own camera and was trying to learn). For whatever you need, Syed is your guy! :)

My partner and I had an amazing time working with Syed! We were unfamiliar with the area and Syed was a great guide and came with a great plan and vision for our session. We enjoyed our experience with Syed very much. We didn't do a typical wedding, so we had a wedding party photoshoot.
Leading up to the shoot, Syed was very communicative, asking questions and giving answers as needed as we talked through time, location, and vibes. He made sure that we had a general plan and itinerary before the shoot. He was always quick to respond and willing to adjust or give feedback.
For the actual shoot, Syed was very well-mannered, kind, and friendly. He was willing to adjust to everything as needed, interacted with family and friends very well, and was giving creative and constructive feedback throughout the entire shoot.
I liked that Syed was always willing to give creative ideas, but he was also very intentional about getting the shots that we requested and/or wanted. He was very easy to work with; and I would highly recommend him for your portraiture or wedding shoots.
The actual photos came out beautifully. It took him about 2 weeks to finish editing, but he gave us a LOT of photos and they were all great quality. He even gave us black and white versions.
If Token Photography fits your budget, just hire him. You're in good hands.

FAQs
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer free consultations for new clients. During the consultation you can expect to go over shooting location(s), time, outfits as well as any other logistical work which will help bring your vision to life!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I had two formal years of education in photography. I have also worked very closely with the Houston Center for Photography when it comes to supplemental learning to reinforce my knowledge.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always been passionate about photography ever since my early teenage years. I decided to pursue it as a profession when I found myself becoming dissatisfied with my corporate 9-5. I made the jump and never looked back!
