We have been teaching for 20 years collectively and we specialize in Drumset, Guitar, Piano, Voice, DJ & Recording Lessons. We also offer studio & recording time as well. We have all instruments in house for you to use and have fun on!

Been to a lot of guitarlessons in Houston and Dynamic Sound is the best. Easy parking, great environment, seasoned teachers who cater to all skill levels. Has everything you want in a music lesson. Currently taking guitarlessons with Jon and he is a well rounded musician who caters to your skill level and what you want to accomplish. Highly recommended!

I loved how friendly the staff was and professional. We received a tour of the facility and got face time with the owner! He got my son fired up about lessons...even though outlets instructor was a bit late. Great experience overall and we signed up for a month of lessons!

We feel so lucky to have stumbled upon this neighborhood studio following the closure of Vivaldi. They teach it all - piano, guitar, drums, voice, DJ - for a reasonable price, and go above and beyond to help if you need to reschedule. Curtis and his staff dedicate themselves to ensuring you receive a solid foundation in theory, while also understanding the broader applicability of what you are learning (such as applying the technique du jour to your favorite classics!). The family feel and personal attention at this studio cannot be beat.

I have always loved singing, but never have I ever thought of myself capable of being a good enough singer. Nevertheless, I figure it couldn’t hurt.
I signed up for the introductory session where I was given a tour and 30 minute session. I found everyone at Dynamic Sound to be truly passionate about their cause and the welcoming energy of their establishment creates a space for creative, nonjudgmental expression. I had my first lesson with Derrick and felt instantly comfortable. He helped me realize, with practice, I can be a talented singer.
Because of their flexible scheduling, pricing at an excellent value, and an individualized curriculum, I signed up for their weekly sessions.
If you are considering taking any of their lessons, you will not be disappointed.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We normally host all our students at Dynamic Sound Houston.
Monthly Pricing is as follows (4-5 Lessons per Month):
$120 - 30 minute lessons
$180 - 45 minute lessons
$240 - 1 hour lessons
If you refer us to a new student that signs up for an hour I will give you a free hour lesson!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically we start with an introductory lesson to assess the skills of the student. We'll start with basic rhythms and exercises to see what the student is cable of and get harder from there. After about 20-30 mins I'll be able to have a better evaluation of where we would take the lessons from there and what books I recommend.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've played in bands from Junior High all the way through College. Also, Marching bands, Jazz Band, Latin Jazz band, Praise and Worship teams at church. I studied Music Education at Texas Christian University for 3 years and ended up transferring to and graduating from Belmont University for Music Business with a minor in production and performance.
