Was a couple of small jobs with marble but Salgado installed everything accurately and level. Week later grout color install was carefully done with no gaps.

Miquel and his partner Dennis were very professional and their work is outstanding. I am an amateur renovating my home. There were several challenges in the project and Miquel and Dennis handled all of them perfectly. Challenge 1: I ordered tiles but did not measure the complete space and break out what size each tile needed to be. Miquel and Dennis calculated the sizing and installed the tile with an attractive pattern. Dennis made a lot of cuts to fit each piece and this really made the overall look of the tile a custom installation. Challenge 2: I did not want to remove the toilet for fear of it leaking. Miquel tiled around the toilet and maintained the straight line of the tile. The lines are perfectly aligned on all walls. Challenge 3: The tile store gave me the wrong color grout and I noticed it after Miquel had started to grout the walls. As I rushed to the store to get the right colored grout, Miquel cleaned up the wrong color. The new color went right over the old and you would never know the other color was laid down first. Challenge 4: Miquel touched up the grout on the floor tile in both the powder room and the kitchen so that it looks as new as the grout in the new wall tiles. I would recommend this crew highly and I would also pass along to other families who are looking for tile and marble contractors that these two are trustworthy, kind, conscientious, concerned and most of all very professional. You will be in good hands with Salgado's Tile & Marble. Thank you again, Miquel and Dennis. I am very grateful for your good work.

Miguel does excellent work. It took us a little over a week to connect. He tiled a backsplash area and part of a wall in my garage apt. I already had the tile so Miguel had to supply the grout, glue, caulk etc. I asked him to use Grey grout, which he did. It looked great in contrast to the white subway tile! I love it. He also did some caulking for me on the tub and kitchen sink. I am very happy and will not hesitate to use Miguel again for any tiling work. First class!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge by experience and how well I do my work. For some it is on the higher side, but a lot of my prior work pictures speak for themselves. I take a lot of pride in what I do and I put a lot of love into it too so that my client can be super satisfied and send me referrals too.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We make an appointment to go see the job. We give them the quote and a list of materials needed. Once they have the materials ready at the jobsite, or on the way, we set a start date. Most of the time it's the next day. The first day I start working, I can usually give a more precise timeline to when it will all be finished, sometimes sooner than the projected time frame. Once finished they can enjoy their new work of art. ❤
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 5 years of commercial and residential experience in many different types of tile. I have been on the residential side for the last 4 years.
