What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I wouldn't necessarily describe my pricing system complicated. Each job is different and each need is different for the job. I charge $75 an hour for editing as well as for just camera work. If it is an event that i'm doing the video for or some specific type of package deal, we can work out pricing because I don't have set in stone prices and I also work with most budgets.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With new customers, I generally ask lots of questions. I don't only want to know about what they have in mind for the project, but I want to know a little bit about themselves so that I help them show a bit of their personality in the shoots.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly watching tutorial videos on different techniques and researching new ways of doing things or tricks of the trade.
