FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
In a nutshell, deciding to get into photography came from a hunger for creating art. Before becoming a photographer I was a painter. I love painting, but with full time work and school that left me little time to create art. I had a little bit of money saved up so I purchased a Pentax camera and started taking photos. I found that I could make art almost instantly and still have that great feeling I had when I completed a painting. I continued practicing on my own and studying other photography to create my own look and style.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
There is a lot of time spent researching on my end. When a customer tells me they a going for a specific look or they describe the location they want I research it. I search online and ask around for ideas. Most importantly, I actually go around town looking for the locations I want to shoot at. I want each of my customers to have a fun experience and have unique photos that they can enjoy. I don't want my customers to worry about their photos looking like other photos I have taken.
