Marisol was amazing!! 15 minutes before our ceremony we got to talking and learning a little about each other, which made our ceremony even more special. Our ceremony turned out to be the most exciting and emotional part of our entire night & we couldn’t have done it without Marisol. WE LOVED HER & we’re grateful she was our wedding officiant ❤️

She stepped in as our Officiant with only a week notice after our original one had to cancel, and we couldn't have asked for a better one. She helped familiarized us with her style before the ceremony and everything went smoothly. Highly recommended.

First and foremost, Maribel was great!! The only reason we did not give Silverbell Weddings 5 stars is that there was confusion about who was who. Initially we talked to Maribel, who we loved, but ended up was not going to conduct the ceremony; which we found out about only by e-mail and only a couple of days before the ceremony... a person we never spoke to!? So there are at least three people: 1) the person in the picture, Maria, the owner; 2) the person you initially talk to, Maribel the organizer, and 3) Marisol, the person who was assigned (at the last minute to us) as the officiant for the ceremony. Because of the lack of communication/explanation, it basically looked like bait and switch, which we despise. We spoke Maribel about this, and Silverbell committed to making it more clear about who you are talking too and who you are going to work with. Also, all their pictures should be provided in their ad so you know who you are speaking with. Picking an officiant for your wedding is not a question of who "looks best," but about honesty, sincerity and the relationship. Silverbells' owner, Maria, may be pretty (in the eye of the beholder as they say of course), but the way business was conducted was confusing, and there is no reason for it to be that way. Maribel was wonderful (and beautiful by the way) and in the end, she did indeed perform the ceremony; which is why we gave them 4 starts instead of one. All of this said, WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND Silverbells... we know they will do better as far as clarity down the road. And although we did not meet all of them, we are sure they are all great people with good hearts, and in the end, that is what is most important of all! All our love and thank you!

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Once being considered, I usually set up a consultation time to either talk over the phone or meet at a central location to see if I am a good fit for them. I want to make sure that they are comfortable with me and to assure that they get to know me instead of just having some stranger showing up to perform their ceremony. Once hired, I stay in constant contact with their needs and make myself completely available to them.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

When I got married, I had difficulty finding someone to marry me during the day other than having to go to the JP's office. So I decided to do this to help couples get married but in the comfort of their homes or choice of location without having to be crammed in a JP's office.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with all types of couples. From young, middle age, to elderly couples. I have also performed many LGBT weddings.
