John and Cindy did a fantastic job at making the course material fun and interactive during my five months with them. The two of them work very well together and never left any questions unanswered and there is plenty of comedic relief. The extra trainers also were a big help in the way of diversifying and teaching the hands on processes that each of them use on a daily basis. I would recommend Bell County EMS Training to anyone and hope to see them grow in this area.

Cyndi Dowling is a great instructor! It's hard to not pay attention when you have a teacher who cares more about making sure the students know the material rather than just the payment. She actually works with us!

Cyndi is very professional, and her extensive knowledge and experience in the EMS field make learning from her both entertaining and truly informative. The practical approach that she takes to teaching makes it easy to absorb large amounts of material while both retaining the information and having a good time. I would highly recommend Cyndi and Bell County EMS Training as a whole.

Class size was a tad big; moving to the new building helped, especially when practicing clinical skills. I still tood advantage of any extra days offered to practice. It would have been nice ot have a field trip involving a junk yard, holding C-spine while kneeling in the back seat is way different than standing behind a person sitting in a chair in the classroom..........and lets not forget the steering wheel, break/gas pedal, ect ect. Obstacles in other words. Maybe set up a Sat mass-cal with help of some firefighters so we can see how it really goes down. ;-)

Thanks Deborah. It would be nice if I could get the fire department to allow the fitefighters time in the community to help an unaffiliated business with training, and if the junk yards would allow a field trip, but unfortunatly due to budget and hazards I don't see that happening. The new building has definately given us more room. It was great seeing you the other day. Take care and be safe!

Question and answer

Q. What types of customers have you worked with?

A. We currently offer an Emergency Medical Technician course that starts on January and in July. The class is 196 hours long and meets in the evenings. Once the course is completed, the student is eligible to take the national Registry EMT exam and to apply for Texas state certification.

We teach several different classes for CPR. Our two most popular are the
*BLS for Health Care Providers, which is required for anyone in the medical field
*Pediatric First Aid, which is for anyone wanting to adopt, foster, or babysit children. It meets the special topics requirement in Texas.
All of our First Aid and CPR classes are American Heart Association, and the certification is good for two years.
We also offer the AHA (ACLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support and the AHA (PALS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support courses.

Q. What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
