I recently purchased a home and reached out to Trippy Breakers to address some findings in the house inspection, fix a short I caused from trying to install a motion light switch, and to make some upgrades with the lighting in the home. I love the house, but the lighting was objectively the worst part of the home and needed some serious updates and changes, both for safety and design. Allen and Kevin showed up to assess the situation and see what they could do to help. They asked detailed questions to help guide me in my considerations of what I wanted and there was a great collaborative effort to identify what needed to be done and what I wanted to make the house feel like my own, as well as making it functional for how my brain works. They answered all of my questions, explained what I did to cause the short, and broke things down in laymen’s terms so I could learn, which is highly valuable to me. Their education helped me to fix the short issue before they came out to start the big project.
Allen and Kevin rewired my breaker panels (both inside and outside), installed a surge protector, upgraded wiring on the exterior, added in receptacles inside and outside the home, installed multiple motion detecting light switches in the laundry room and closets, installed a smart switch, installed an Ethernet wire in my office, installed multiple three way switches (which included some serious rewiring in one particular hallway), replaced all the light switches in my house, rewired some of the switches at my request, installed/wired recessed lighting in the kitchen and living room, surface lights in the entry hall, and pendant lights above the bar area. I could not be happier with the results.
Their attention to detail, commitment to delivering the exact results that I wanted, and having a great attitude about the whole project made me feel comfortable and confident with them working on my home on such a serious project. They delivered over and beyond what I asked for, had a great work ethic, and made sure things were done exactly how I wanted them. They were expedient, focused, highly communicative, and thorough. I highly recommend this business and 100% would hire them again in the future for additional upgrades or repair work.

They were very generous to come and check my electrical problem on a weekend. They were curtious and very concern about our safety . They made their inspection and safety procedures in a timely manner. Overall their inspection and estimates of job are very reasonable. I did not think twice what their job consisted of and again their price. Highly recommend . Very nice gentlemen who take their job with professionalism.

I could only select 3 words on my rating, but if it were up to me, I’d select all 5 without hesitation! There’s a hilarious double-booking story behind this visit that I’ll save for another time, let’s just say it added some unexpected entertainment to the day.
All jokes aside, you’ll get two confident electricians who truly know their craft. They’re professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and apparently come with complimentary comedy. Quality service with a side of laughter? That’s a win in my book!

Al, Kev, and Eric I cant say thank you enough! They were called out to fix a ton of issues from our subpanel to adding grounding wires and so much more. We have an older home and it had been in need of so many electrical modifications. Not only did they take the time to help explain what the problem was, but gave solutions. There was no funny business about money they told us exactly what to expect and gave options. We trusted their judgement and have absolutely no complaints.
