Introduction: My name is Ashley Matusek and I've been in the legal field for nearly 20 years. I am a Mediator, and the owner of Chief Mediation. It is my passion to help families that find themselves in a divorce or custody dispute to come to a resolution that makes everyone feel comfortable with the decisions they have made for their future.
Without having an impartial party, often times divorces, especially those that include children, can become heated and contentious. Mediation is the best tool in this situation to allow each party to have a direct say in the final outcome, versus a stranger in a courtroom making the decisions for you and your family.
I make sure to stay up to date on any and all techniques in conducting mediations, as well as keep in close contact with fellow mediators and peers to make sure all of my clients get top-notch service.
If you are in Texas, I can work with you through Zoom, FaceTime or other video options if an in-person mediation is not an option. I am only credentialed for Texas.
I offer discounts to active military, veterans, teachers and first responders.

Ashley did a great job! Getting divorced is never easy, but she walked us through all of the things that we needed to consider. I would definitely use her again to mediate any conflicts in the future.

Five out of five but would only let me choose three. Hands down she is the best! Being in a situation where you need a mediator is usually never a good one, Ms. Matusek made it pretty much painless less. She is very knowledgeable and actually listened. I'm very glad I called her!

Ashley was very knowledgeable about the process and was extremely patient with both of us when we had any questions. Honestly, this is the first experience I've had in Texas that didn't feel basis towards one party. Ashley actually listened to both of our concerns and was able to resolve our issues without confrontation. My only regret is not contacting her sooner. Thanks for your time and professionalism.
