FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge a flat hourly rate during the initial "clean-up" process for bookkeeping and tax planning. I do this because it is the most fair method of charging. Once the client's accounting system is ready to be maintained I offer a monthly service contract that is based on the amount of accounting/bookkeeping support they need. For tax preparation I charge on a per-form basis.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically schedule a free consultation with a potential new customer to discuss their specific needs and concerns. The consultation an opportunity for the client to meet face-to-face and decide if they feel that I am the right choice for them and their business.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I an Enrolled Agent recognized to practice before the IRS. This credential is a federally-authorized tax practitioner who has technical expertise in the field of taxation and who is empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels, examination, collection, and appeals, of the Internal Revenue Service. The credential is awarded by and regulated by the IRS and requires continuing education credits specific to federal tax laws and ethics.
