My name is Courtney Sheffield, Coach Sheff for short and I love the game of basketball. Iโ€™ve never played at a high level like college, I barely played for my high school team, but I did get better with age. My training is unorthodox and unusual but unique. I like to play one on one first day to see the strengths and weaknesses of the my student. ( In the future, I will continue to play them one on one to sharpen their individual skills) After playing, I will create a training plan focusing on their strengths and will improve their weaknesses gradually. Every student is not the same so all students will not be learning the same. The training will be similar but I have to make them think to instill confidence in these students. That is what makes my training effective. Also in my training method, I use a invention I made myself to help kids dribble, rebound, shoot and catch the basketball; some of these skills may improve the first day, but consistency is key to make it permit.See more
