- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For ala carte research services such as background checks or address history search, the price varies. Average Cost To Hire A PI For Surveillance In TX $1000-$5000 & up Retainer $75-200 & up Hourly Rate In the majority of cases, private investigators will charge a flat rate or an hourly rate. Hourly rates can vary based on the type of investigation needed as well as how many investigators will be needed. Nearly all investigators will ask for a retainer fee before taking a case. It is unlikely you will find an investigator willing to do just one or two hours of investigative work. Additionally some investigators charge for travel time and/or mileage traveled. It is important to get a retainer agreement in place that details all possible fees in order to protect both parties in the unlikely event of a dispute. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting started with your private investigator couldn’t be simpler. Begin your investigation with just four quick steps: 1. Complete a Discovery Call Your investigator will help you understand how a private investigator can help you to reach your desired outcome and will provide you with an indication of cost. 2. Connect With Your Private Investigator Once you’ve completed the Investigative Services Agreement and fulfilled payment requirements, the private investigator will contact you to discuss your specific requirements and goals. You should be prepared to answer questions and provide information. 3. Investigation in Progress Once approved by you, your private investigator will begin the investigation process. You will receive a copy of the investigative service agreement outlining the work to be provided to you. 4. Case Updates & Final Report Your private investigator will keep you up to date with any and all significant developments throughout the duration of your investigation and will provide you with a final written report at the conclusion of the investigation. In addition, your private investigator may be able to testify in court if necessary and agreed upon at the beginning of the investigation, additional fees do apply. All communications between yourself and your private investigator remain strictly confidential.

We are TX licensed, bonded, and insured. We have a private investigator training certificate, Level II security training, military, and corrections experience. We guarantee accuracy, precision, and attention to detail in every assignment.
