The MHC Team was professional and punctual throughout the entire project. Mitch helped me think through the project, and explore alternatives and cost-saving strategies. The MHC team was very respectful of my home - making sure to take care of any debris at the end of each work day. When the project was completed, the HHC team hired cleaners to do a deep cleaning of my entire house - not just the work area. Mitch is very friendly - my entire family loved him for his humility and for his sense of humor. I was away when the MHC painted the room and I approved the pain color selected (as shown in the photo sent to me). When I returned, the color wasn't as expected. The MCH team changed the wall color to a color of my choosing at no additional cost to me. Great team! I highly recommend them!

Details: Change the form or function of a portion of a room or structure • Kitchen • Attic • Balcony • No existing plans, but have a good idea of what I want • No, the project is not covered by an insurance claim • As soon as possible

Mitch, his wife, and his team all were awesome! They helped us make our choices, searched for alternatives to show us when items could not get here in time, and even met us at a store to assist us with the best choices for our bathroom remodel. They were thorough and patient to make sure we understood each step. Mitch's lead, who worked with us, was patient and also gave experienced feedback on the best pathways to take. We LOVED working with Mitch and his team!! He is honest and trustworthy!! We highly recommend him and would work with them again without hesitation!!

The owner Mitch is a nice and friendly guy, but the work they did is mediocre at best. The deck we had them build was 20’x25’ with vertical pickets for the guard rails. (all the communication was in text) After we got the quote for $10,875 and had the set date when we wanted it to be finished, by my daughters birthday. He told us he would have to put a rush order for the materials & that it would be an additional $500, we told him that was fine. They were able to get the platform finished by the requested date with no stairs from the deck to the yard, so I made some temporary stairs to get by. They didn’t put any flashing down for the structure of the deck so that will take life away from the deck. The gapping between the boards is not consistent, cut on the boards are not straight. They went crazy with the nails in some places. Some of the boards are already lifting up & it hasn’t even been a full two months. The only thing that looks good are the guard rails and those have some issues too, mostly just rough cuts on the top rails, which is highly noticeable. We also requested a rolling gate for the opening of the deck, which was never built. And the stairs are far smaller than we talked about them being. When I talked with him about some of the issues we would like them to fix he said he would come out to us and look at them and take care of it. That never happened because when he asked for the last payment it was $1400 more than we had agreed on, which I pointed out & he admitted that he thought he had told us about the “extra costs” & he should’ve know better than to not have it in writing. My wife & I both looked through all of our texts, the main form of communication, & could not find anything mentioning extra costs outside of the $500 we agreed on. We told him we would pay what we initially agreed upon but not the extra $1400 since we did not budget for it. We paid, asked if he was coming to fix all the issues & finish the initial project, & got no response back. If I could go back in time I would not hire him again. Like I said in the beginning Mitch is a nice guy, but the quality of the deck is not there.

Details: New deck or porch construction • No existing plans, but I know what I want • Residential

We are sorry to hear about your recent experience and appreciate your feedback. We strive to provide the best service possible and regret that we did not meet your expectations. It appears there was a miscommunication regarding the upgrades to the handrails and stairs. While the changes were requested and approved, the additional cost of $1,400 was unfortunately not communicated clearly. We offered to complete the remaining items on the punch list, but understand that you preferred to handle them yourself. Given the circumstances, we have decided not to pursue the additional amount owed and will not be engaging in further projects together. We take great pride in our work and are known for our high-quality standards in the industry. We regret any confusion that may have arisen and are committed to maintaining the excellence our customers expect from us. Please feel free to contact us if you change your mind and allow us to correct the punch list items. We are sorry to hear about your recent experience and appreciate your feedback. This vendor deserves 5 STARS!!!!! MHC did a great job on remodeling and replacing flooring to an old mobilehome, replacing kitchen, bathroom, laundry, hallway flooring, fixing a bathtub leak and an rebracing an awning over the mobilehome I have that I am currently renting out. I am currently going through a lawsuit with my renter. And at my attorney’s request, she wanted me to complete the repairs before we go to court. Mitch the owner said no problem. Will get right on it. They took my job as priority and delivered their promise on time in spite of the cold weather snap that came through. MHC completed ahead of schedule. If you are looking for somebody to do a make over on an hold mobilehome, these are the guys! I would use them again! A very happy customer! Nancy Smith
