I hired her to document my proposal to my now Fiancee. She was extremely helpful with determining the location and helping plan the act. The whole thing went very smooth large in part due to her help. The turn around for the pictures was much quicker than we expected and the pictures came out beautiful. She was very instrumental in planning and documenting a huge milestone moment in our lives that we will remember forever. I’d very much recommend hiring her services to anyone I could.

We asked Brittany French, the owner of Bee the Joy, LLC, to take post-wedding portraits for us on March 17, 2026. Our wedding was last July 6, and while we had plenty of great photos, we didn’t quite get that one special portrait we wanted. Plus, July heat makes outdoor photos tough! I had already planned a return on a cooler day, and eight months later we got a perfect spring day. We were much more relaxed with no actual wedding day stress, and it made all the difference. Choosing Brittany was absolutely the right decision—she is amazing in every way!
Brittany was extremely responsive from the first moment we contacted her. She asked for inspiration photos in advance and was clearly determined to make our “dream portraits” a reality. She arrived early, stayed late, and only charged $250 for everything! She is very creative and talented behind the lens with a keen eye for detail. She welcomed our input before, during, and after the shoot, which made us feel even more comfortable and confident—and i think that was portrayed in our photos.
Overall, working with Bee the Joy Photography, LLC was a fun, memorable experience resulting in beautiful images we’ll cherish forever. We truly enjoyed every interaction, and I loved feeling like a bride all over again! Brittany clearly loves what she does and is passionate about creating lasting memories. She captured us perfectly, and we love the images she created for us.
She sent a sneak peek the very next day and delivered the full album in under 10 days! She also did several quick edits we requested.
We cannot say enough about what a pleasurable and fun experience Brittany provided. She is professional, creative, personable, and reasonably priced. What more could a bride and groom want?

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer 3 main packages. All my fees include shooting time, editing, and digital galleries. I will book studios for additional charges.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love to get to know my customers personalities these are key. I have you fill out a questionnaire prior and get the basics of your wants to ensure I capture that in images.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
15 years of experience and second shooting. I have training in editing and photography equipment. I have been in solo business for a year, but worked with another photographer in business for 8 years prior to opening my own business.
