We were having a problem with our Great Pyrenees, Bunty, barking more than needed. The first day Abby came out, no more excessive barking. No more pulling with the leash, what a different dog. What a great trainer! Great company! Positive dog training at its best!

We booked with Always Faithful for a Board & Train experience for our five-and-a-half-month-old puppy, Nova. We were almost immediately introduced to Joe and from the moment we spoke on the phone, I felt comfortable and excited due to his extensive knowledge and sweet disposition. We spoke to Joe multiple times before dropping Nova off for her session. Our initial purpose for sending her to Board & Train was to properly correct her of normal puppy misbehaviors. We had potty trained and crate trained her, but she was still a chewer, leash-tugger, and counter-surfer.When we met Joe at his house to drop Nova off for the week, we met his family and he immediately made Nova (and our family!) feel at ease. He spent most of the time we were there observing her and explaining to us what would happen over the next week. Joe let us stay as long as we needed to feel comfortable, which wasn't long at all because of how kind and organized he was. He let me know that he would keep us updated with what they were working on each day, send videos and photos, and that there was absolutely no pressure to respond to them, but that it was just to keep my mind at ease and know she was well taken care of. He was so good with her that she didn't even notice we had left and before we made it home, I already had a message and photo from Joe showing us that she was happy and relaxed. Throughout the week, Joe sent multiple videos of her progress and it was absolutely astounding at how quickly she was progressing with him. By the second full day, Nova was walking on a loose leash right next to Joe. Every time he would stop, so would she. He also let us know that Nova is a very intelligent and high-energy dog and just had too much pent-up energy. He let us know exactly how to handle her "boredom" and taught her to properly fetch (which is now her favorite game) to get some energy out. Since we have implemented his strategies, she has not chewed anything, walks perfectly on a leash, and knows she must be invited onto the couch or bed, among many other lessons he taught and shared. He was so knowledgable and taught us so much, from how to keep her occupied to feeding techniques, which we didn't even know needed altered for her benefit. After Nova stayed with Joe, he came to our house for a visit about a week later to see how she was doing. Although she was ecstatic to see him, you could still see the level of respect she had for him. It was very special to see the bond they had formed and how much more comfortable and confident she was after her training.It has been about three months since Nova's training and we are still in contact with Joe. He checks on Nova and we keep him updated with photos. You could tell he truly loves all of the dogs he deals with and he certainly makes a very big impact on the lives of the dogs and their families. I know he did with ours and we are forever grateful for him. Without hesitation I would recommend Joe to absolutely anyone looking to train their dog(s). He is one-of-a-kind!
