Hi, I'm Monica Keepers with Finders Keepers by Monica dba MK Designs.
I'm an independent Interior Designer with over 30 years experience in the Dallas area. I have a bachelor of fine arts from the University of North Texas in Interior Design and Architecture. MK Designs offer s a wide range of professional design services meeting you in your home and working to create your ultimate living experience. I work with residential, commercial and retail clients and help with all aspects of the design process. In addition to decorating and design services I offer occupied home staging and furniture upholstery. I work well with conservative budgets and no project is too small! I enjoy meeting people and work closely with my clients striving for quality and customer satisfaction.
My mission statement is, "Creating Beautiful Homes using pieces that Matter."

I contacted Monica regarding help in remodeling guest and master bathrooms, install walk-in shower, update bedroom and make design improvements in other rooms in the house. She responded and we met the next day. I was amazed at how fluid her ideas were so on target as we discussed the scope of work. She has years of experience and many resources to support her in translating ideas into solid action items for her clients. Monica is a delightful person to know, she is professional, creative and while she can shine in new builds and very high-end projects, she enjoys helping anyone who can utilize her services. After 2 hours of discussion, I engaged her and I am thrilled to know she will be the guiding light to completing these projects that are so meaningful to me.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Design Consultation fees are $125 hr.
Staging Service fees are based on quantity of rooms & sizes,
please contact me for pricing details.
Furniture upholstery service prices vary and are based on each individual piece, and quoted separately, please text me pictures for quick quotes!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once the customer contacts me I will call or message back for job details and questions, then set up an initial consultation time to meet in person and asses the job on site, take pictures and measurements if necessary.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BFA in Interior Design and Architecture from The University of North Texas, Home staging certification through IAP and over 20 years experience in the field.
