Trish is extremely cognizant of my needs as a student. She’s also a wonderful teacher who makes you feel at ease when corrected. These are some of the most important traits you need in a language teacher. It's hard to speak a secondlanguage correctly 100% of the time. I’ve lived in the US for 13 years now, and I still struggle with tenses, plurals, and colloquial terms. During our weekly sessions, Trish has been able to correct all of these weak points. I've learned the 'spirit' of English to speak more like a native speaker, which is my ultimate goal. She also helps me understand the nuance of tenses, something my husband has struggled to explain to me for the past 10 years. I'm just happy that I found Trish as my teacher, and I'm finally on my way to speaking even better English than ever.

I reached out to get help for my stepson who was failing a college English Course. He had a little over a week to redo and resubmit many failed draft essays. Even though this was a big project, she took it on and worked almost daily with him. Not only did he learn a ton from her but we believe we can turn around his failing grade to a passing grade, which is quite miraculous! We will not hesitate to use her again. Very impressive work and very kind to and patient to work with!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer individual, 1-on-1 classes.
Individual classes cost $55/class or $495 for 10 classes. Individual classes are 55 minutes long and custom created to your level and needs. We will work on grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary and conversational skills.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a complementary consultation of 25 minutes for new students. This consultation will consist of assessing how much the student knows and where there is room for improvement. We will also talk about what the student specifically desires to work on. Then I will design lessons specifically for you. Classes are centered around giving the student the most time possible to practice speaking. Gentle correction and teaching will be given to improve pronunciation and grammar. Homework is available upon request.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in Education. I am certified in TESOL , foundational and advanced. I have been teaching for over 20 years. I have been teaching English for over 6 years and especially love reading up on grammar in my spare time. :)
