I am a long time computer user in business and personal. I started with DOS on 386 cpu's and worked slowly over 25 years up through Windows 95, Windows 98, skipped all the way to Windows 7 which is still on my desk. I am now an options stock trader for a living at 88 years old. Also spent four years compiling and publishing a big book here at this desk. Through all the years of extensive computer use, I never learned much about how they work or what to do when things went haywire. I know my business programs well but not much else. And I am bad about punching "wrong" keys. Gary came to my aid last week when there was trouble and my long time guru was not available. Printer wouldn't work and the computer was slow and troublesome. Gary came and quickly looked things over, finding quite a bit of lack of necessary updating in several programs. Then he right away set to work finding the appropriate updates from the source. Now all is running smoothly and noticeable faster, especially when I remember to reboot every day or two. See, that's a simple thing to do that I never knew about. On my desktop CPU there is a cartoon saying, INTEL INSIDE, IDIOT OUTSIDE.
