FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge a moderate diagnostic fee to determine exactly what type of problem exists and then give you options for your repair with upfront pricing. We think surprises are a bad thing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you set an appointment with us we will give you a two hour window and not make you wait around all day wondering when we will get there. Our plumber or HVAC technician on arrival will be wearing an Action Air uniform, quickly but thoroughly diagnose the work needed at your home or business. Rest assured you will always know what a repair will cost before we begin because we work by the job rather than by the hour. We will give you options for repair or replacement so you make the decision about how much or little work you want done and we do not pay our employees by commission so you will not be pushed into expensive repairs. We offer all types of payment options from personal check, credit cards, 12 month 0% interest or low interest rate longer term financing (wac) on all our work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
At Action Air & Plumbing we believe all service providers in our industry must be State licensed because your health and well being depends on it. To work on any plumbing every service provider must have at least one Responsible Master Plumber, we have two. Then to work at your property every plumber must hold at least a Journeyman license and anyone helping him must be a registered apprentice. The Air Conditioning and Heating industry is very similar in Texas. As a service provider we must be State licensed as a Air Conditioning Contractor. By the way we have three licensed contractors. Then to work at your property on your systems every technician must be register with the State of Texas.
