FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer a 10% discount to Activity Duty Military and Veterans, Teachers, and Nurses.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During the initial phone call, we discuss what problems the customer is having and try to determine the extent of the problem. Next, I describe the work I would perform to solve the customer's issue and why. Most of the time I can provide a quote over the phone. In some cases, I need to see the situation to offer the best solution and best price. If the customer agrees, I visit the location, perform an inspection, and review what work I will be doing and the timeframe to completion, then begin the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's of Science in Microbiology and Biochemistry. After working in the laboratory for a number of years (including the Texas Department of Health, Environmental Chemistry Division, analyzing soil, drinking water, and wastewater for pesticide residue), I worked in education -- teaching Environmental Science, Chemistry, and Physics. I've attended seminars/webinars on many aspects of pest control and weed control and fertilization.
