FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If you are decisive and trust your designer, that is the best way to keep the fees low. When clients change their mind or want to exhaust every single option, the time spent on the project goes up, which in turn, raises the clients cost. The great thing about Interior Designers is that they can actually bring the cost of your project down, and can save you both time and money.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process usually looks something like this: 1) Initial Conversation - we'll talk on the phone and I'll get an idea of what you need and how I can help. 2)Client Consultation - We'll meet and discuss the project at further length. I’ll give you recommendations, and I’ll explain how the process will work. After this meeting, I will give you an estimate of how much time I think it will take. We'll determine if we're a good fit for each other. 3) Design Agreeement - I'll form a document that discusses what the scope of the work will be, what services you will receive, and what the cost will be. With a signature and a deposit, we'll begin. 4) Design Schematics + Development: I will begin forming ideas and putting together selections for your space based on the scope of the project. I will present the ideas for you. We may have some items to tweak or reselect but then with your approval we will move forward. 5) Detail Drawings, Project Management (if needed): If you are doing a full service package, I will take care of all the details as determined within your project scope. This may include putting together all the specifications and drawings on a new construction or remodel project, or ordering and delivering/installing all furniture and accessories.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've worked for residential designers in both Florida and Texas. My previous projects range from single space renovation to multi million dollar whole home new construction.
