This was my initial visit to Dr. Kong. I have had continuous issues over the last 6 years with shoulder and neck pain as well as eye twitching due to fatigue. I have been to an ophthalmologist, chiropractor, massage therapy, muscular skeletal therapy and at best results have been negligible to temporary relief. After my initial visit with Dr. Kong things are looking very promising compared to the alternatives that I have tried. Dr Kong was very professional, her bed side manor was comforting and engaging. She explained everything in a detail and was genuine in her concern of my well-being. Her years of experience showed. I definitely will be continuing my therapy with her.

I had occasion to visit Dr Kelly on several occasions with very positive results. Once I had Shingles but because it was diagnosed very late by a dermatologist my recovery took longer than normal and the lesions around my torso remained even after my coarse of medication had ended. Dr Kelly examined my affected areas and prescribed some herbal medicines for my condition which greatly reduced my discomfort after a week my skin had returned to normal. At the start of Covid-19 Dr Kelly recommended her herbal medications to boost my families immune system and I firmly believe that this caused my family and many other families that used her products to remain Covid free even to this day. Her philosophy has always been to treat the direct cause of a particular ailment and not the symptoms that have manifested themselves as a consequence of the malaise. During the years when I was very active in competitive sports I often attended her clinic for acupuncture to treat the muscular pain from my injuries with excellent results. I would highly recommend her as an competent and effective medical practitioner. Dr Kelly has on numerous occasions also donated her herbal medicines to The Hong Ning Chinese Aged Home and other charitable causes in Africa. Relief!!! After just the first visit, I experienced major relief of shoulder pain that chiropractic couldn't fix. Dr. Kong is also addressing other issues such as leg / low back pain and menopause issues (hot flashes, weight gain, hormone balance). She is very thorough, takes her time, and very attentive to your comfort level.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe getting well through Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine should be affordable for most of the population. Due to that, I am offering a first visit special for $70 only which includes consultation and Acupuncture treatment.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During the visit, a consultation will be conducted first, then Acupuncture treatment will be followed. The entire process may take 45 minutes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1994 and received a bachelor's degree in medicine from the University. After I graduated from the university, I was appointed as a resident doctor at Shanghai Longhua hospital the biggest hospital in Shanghai which specializes in Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 1997, I moved to Johannesburg South Africa and opened an Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine clinic, where I practiced for 23 years until the end of 2020, I relocated to Texas to join my family.
