I recently hired Jessica for a wallpaper project and couldn't be happier with the experience. My project required a two-day process to skim-coat my textured walls before hanging the paper, and the results are absolutely seamless.
From the start, her communication was excellent—she answered all my questions online and in person. Her contract was very professional, providing a clear breakdown of the process and costs. I found her pricing to be very fair and reasonable for the high level of service and specialized knowledge she brings to the table.
She was punctual, efficient, and left the workspace spotless each day. As an added bonus, she shared some expert insights on how to fix a few issues with my kitchen cabinets, drawing on her broader expertise in that area. I will definitely be using her again for future projects and highly recommend her to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship!

After a couple not so great experiences with painters I found Ackerman Painting. Jessica is now my go to painter and handy woman for both my home and rental. There's nothing she can't do! She's easy to work with and always does an excellent job. Very detail oriented. Great one to bounce ideas off of too. When I was lamenting the fact that my painted wood blinds were looking pretty bad with paint flaking off, that I didn't want to buy new blinds, she suggested painting them. So she did and they look amazing! Saving me a couple thousand bucks too! Thank you Ackerman Painting!

I absolutely LOVE the work Jessica did for me! The care she took with prepping everything, making sure to keep the air clean in our house while painting, the attention to detail with painting and wallpaper, I could go on and on. She really knows what she’s doing, is very knowledgeable about what types of paint to use and how to apply different types of wallpaper. She does beautiful work, is well priced, punctual (she went over the top to make sure my project was finished before a party I was hosting), and is super polite. She accommodated my baby’s nap schedule and met all of our needs and then some! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Jessica did a great job hanging the wallpaper in our closet-turned-reading nook. From the get go she was very communicative and even helped me calculate how much paper we needed for the space. On installation day she brought all her supplies and was really kind.

I utilize careful bid precision to ensure proper materials allocated and quality expected by clients. I plan for efficient and exact labor cost to provide the level of excellence provided by my company and desired by client so nothing goes over the scheduled timeline. If there are change orders the materials and labor are discussed and written adjustments to contract are recorded and signed off.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed contractor in California and have experience since 2005. I also have done interior design college work to provide a higher level of consultation than most of my peers.
