FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve developed my experience through hands-on fieldwork, mold and moisture assessments, industry training, and ongoing education in indoor air quality and property inspection practices. I stay updated on best practices and focus on providing accurate evaluations, detailed reporting, and practical recommendations that help clients make informed decisions.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started in mold consulting because I’ve always been interested in helping people protect their homes and indoor environments. Over time, I saw how many homeowners were being overwhelmed with inconsistent information or unnecessary remediation recommendations. That motivated me to focus on honest assessments, education, and helping clients understand the real source of mold and moisture problems.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One project I’m especially proud of involved helping a homeowner identify hidden mold caused by a slow plumbing leak behind a bathroom wall. The issue had been overlooked by multiple companies, but through a detailed inspection and moisture testing process, we were able to pinpoint the source and help the client prevent further damage. The inspection and consultation took about 2–3 hours, and the homeowner appreciated having clear, honest guidance without pressure or upselling.
