About
I’ve been playing and teaching piano and organ for more than 40 years, and I still love helping each student discover the joy of music.
I teach one-on-one in my home studio on a Baldwin grand piano. I welcome students of all ages, from young children to adults, including those with special needs who can benefit from the structure and expression that piano offers.
In addition to piano and organ, I also teach music theory to build a solid musical foundation.
I have also had students that have attained music scholarships for their college years.
I have my own library of music and will only charge you what I pay. I have many popular songs also for a fun piece to work on as you advance.

Ms. King is everything you’d want in a piano teacher! She’s an outstanding player herself and is a patient, loving teacher to all her students. I wish we’d started with her sooner. She holds lessons in a private room of her home that always smells incredible and brings the most welcome vibe!

I have taken lessons for about 4 years now. Ann is patient. She is very knowledgeable about piano and can teach all ages and levels. She is also very kind! I have made great progress over the years and Ann acknowledges the progress every time even if it’s just a bit of progress! It makes you excited and happy to come to piano!
