- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We feel very strongly that we offer the best value available to our clients. As a shop-at-home dealer we have almost no overhead. All of our custom manufactured window treatments, from blinds to shutters, are greatly discounted and usually include free measuring & installation! That being said, "The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of a good price has been forgotten". We've been in business over 25 years because we don't cut corners to reduce prices!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We try to gather as much information about what the customer needs over the phone when they call to schedule an appointment. Some clients need repairs to their existing window coverings or help installing what they've purchased and others would like a professional to measure, order and install the best treatment for their purpose. In this case, we come to the customer's home and help them choose from a wide variety of products and show them the available colors in each room where they will be installed. The lighting in stores is very different and can alter the look of colors!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As an engineering student I'm technically minded about the function and performance of each product in every circumstance, not all windows are created equal. Trained as a Window Covering Professional by Graber in 1993 and as a Dealer / Installer / Technician by Hunter Douglas since 1994.
