I wanted to say how wonderful Cover Band was at our first annual company Christmas Party. Everyone was extremely happy with the songs that were played and how the band presented on stage. I am still getting compliments from employees and friends about how good the music was. We can't thank Cover Band enough for such a wonderful and unforgettable evening. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend them for any type of entertainment. Awesome job!

Cover Down band's reply
Mr. Simone, thanks for contacting us today through Thumbtack. After responding to your inquiry within 10 minutes of being alerted to your request, you declined our quote for your reception. In an effort to clarify, I asked if I misunderstood your request. You replied our price was higher than expected, and I tried to commiserate, stating that weddings were indeed expensive, and wished you good luck in your search. Mysteriously, you marked us as 'hired' in the booking system, then characterized my response as "rude" -- I sincerely apologize for this misunderstanding, and still wish you all the best in your upcoming nuptials.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We typically charge much less than our competition, because I don't run the band for profit. I pay $0.93 out of every dollar to payroll, thereby ensuring my band mates are loyal and happy. Most of the band has been together for over five years.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Describe the process upfront, answer questions promptly and thoroughly, conduct a planning meeting a month prior to the event to solicit music choices and create a run of show, share details, and execute so the night is perfect.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

MBA from SMU, high school band playing French horn.
